Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology Starts its Activities

Dr. Zahi Hawass held the first event of the Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology at the foot of the Great Pyramid of King Kufu in Giza. The event was attended by more than 500 children and archaeology enthusiasts. To emphasize the greatness of the pyramid’s builders, Dr. Hawass gave a detailed explanation of the site to the young attendees. He pointed out that children should be aware of the history of their ancestors, and emphasized that he is always keen to be in contact with this young generation. He also indicated that there are numerous books that communicate the history of ancient Egypt to children in an articulate and easy manner.
