Visit to the pyramids

In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disability, Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology at Bibliotheca Alexandrina had organized a visit to the Giza Pyramids area on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at 9.30 AM. Dr. Zahi Hawass explained the archeological area for children and introduced them to the ancient Egyptian civilization. This came in line with Bibliotheca’s global policy and its keenness to raise archeological awareness among all sects of society.

The Zahi Hawass visit to the 57357 Children Cancer Hospital

Dr. Zahi Hawass confirmed that the income from selling his famous hat, produced by an American company, will be donated to the 57357 Children Cancer Hospital. Hawass called upon the entire world to donate to the hospital, to ease the pain of these children.


Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology Starts its Activities

Dr. Zahi Hawass held the first event of the Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology at the foot of the Great Pyramid of King Kufu in Giza. The event was attended by more than 500 children and archaeology enthusiasts.
